David’s latest full length play, a comedy drama Funny Turns, opened at The Museum of Comedy, London, in 2019 before transferring to the Jermyn Street Theatre where it enjoyed a sold out run.
A free-to-view online reading of the play to benefit the Jermyn Street Theatre Reopening Fund was produced in 2021. Introduced by Joanna Lumley, the cast features Linda Thorson, Gary Wilmot, Andrew Wincott, Timothy Bentinck, Gay Soper, Georgia Riley, Crissy Mullen, Lewis Rae, David Forest and David Hampshire. The reading is directed by Hayward B. Morse and can be viewed via our Youtube channel by clicking here.

David’s plays are performed throughout the UK. Briefcase Encounter and Over the Top (Up) were recently performed in Scotland by the Linlithgow players. Briefcase Encounter was performed in 2020 by Rare Fortune Productions at the OSO in Barnes as part of their Brief Encounters presentation.
