David Hampshire



David Hampshire has been a professional actor since 1966 when he played the title role in the BBC TV series Jennings. He began writing in 2001 and to date he has written twenty short plays and one full-length play.

David's plays are written for the stage within a single setting but they readily lend themselves to radio and television adaptation. Two of his plays form part of a six part situation comedy written under the series title Tom's Tales.

A collection of David's writing, Moments In Life a three volume anthology of his short plays is published by Stagescripts Ltd. His full-length play Face Value will be published by Stagescripts Ltd. in 2017.
